Our Story
Guided by a Christian faith that integrates both word and deed, FOUND ORLANDO is committed to Finding, Feeding, & Furthering Individuals & Communities in Jesus’ Name.
FOUND ORLANDO is a Fresh Expression Christian ministry hub and a nonprofit 501(c)3 services program based in the Orlando & Central Florida region. At FOUND ORLAND, alongside our call to make disciples for Jesus, we focus our efforts and energy on feeding the hungry locally, rescuing street children globally, and sharing practical hope with those who are in need and those who feel unheard and unseen, those Jesus referred to as “the least of these” (Matt. 25:31–46.).
As a faith-based organization and a Jesus-centered ministry, our heart is to help people to know and follow Jesus. A huge part of this is engaging with everyday ordinary folks living without Jesus, sharing hope with them, and providing practical support through feeding programs, back-to-school support for families, providing diapers for new moms, and access to counseling support to those needing support with bereavement, life-changes, crisis resources and distress.
FOUND Orlando organizes ministries around a simple ministry model that takes care of the weak, the needy, and the hurting, prepares tables to feed our neighbors, provides pastoral counseling support, and offers Jesus-centered street outreach to help fight food poverty across Greater Orlando and beyond.
Our Mission and Vision
Why we exist is pretty simple! We exist so that firstly, no one will be without Jesus and so that no child, family, or individual will go without access to healthy, nutritional food.
Found Ministries & Found Orlando exists to connect Orlando to the heart of Jesus, bring Jesus to the world, reach those living far from God, and help meet the practical needs of those experiencing hardship. We do all this through the power of the Holy Spirit. We want this reality to permeate our hearts and lives as we love Him.
Our objective each day is that each person who interacts with Found Orlando will not only receive the resources they need but also feel a sense of hope, as well as an invitation to know the heart of God. Found Orlando aims to share Jesus’ local and global love, whilst building healthy communities that express Jesus’ tangible love and fostering opportunities for those in need.
